Inspirational - we hope!

Well...

Well...

Summer is officially over after September 22nd...I hate to be the bearer of bad news. However...we (hopefully) have some good warm days left, and soon the leaves will begin to change. We personally love the Fall (if we get one). Many of our major life events happened during these times. I went into the US Army in September - 29 years ago, and I left the Army four years later in September. We got married in September - 26 years ago. Our first two kids were born in October - 23 and 20 years ago. We are using air conditioning less (if not at all), and the electricity...

Heal Thyself!

Heal Thyself!

Hi Folks! Just a short entry today! Last week I was fully intending on keeping it short...but nope...I believe that my last post was my longest yet! The whole basic point of my last post was about finding a simple effective angle (a new perspective) to help us begin to make changes in our lives. The photo (above) is a cool perspective that I had (and shared) in the past. The reason I was up there – I...

How Red Clover Herbs & Market Came to Be: The Short Version!

Liesl and I have been asked a certain question quite a few times now….Are we a franchise? The Short and long answer to that is...Nope…Maybe someday, but not yet. What used to be in the space we now call the other home was a shop called Herbs for Health. It was, primarily, a Nature’s Sunshine outlet (we still carry Nature’s Sunshine Products). Herbs for Health was brought to Idaho Falls by Frannie (the longest owner in our current location), and then she sold that business to Nancy, who then liquidated the remaining assets to us when Nancy was ready to retire from it. So, we did...

Am I Important?

Tim Vosika

Am I Important?

This question - I'm sure – has plagued hordes of folks….Am I important? Is a mother important, is a father important? Community leaders, mentors, coaches, spiritual leaders, soldiers, and many other people with titles are, arguably, very important. There are decent ordinary people I know who are searching in excessively lofty places to try and place themselves in this light. It seems that maybe they are worried that they missed the importance clothing sale, and are bloating themselves to fit into a large artificial suit of importance. Some of these would-be importance shoplifters may have their sights on ideas that are – most...
