Herbal Release uses Castor Oil as a base. The Castor plant has been called "Palma Christe" because the leaves were said to resemble the hand of Christ, with the name likely referring to the peoples’ reverence and respect for the plant's healing abilities. Castor oil is used because it has been shown to work as an anti-inflammatory agent by sinking deep to bring healing to all levels.
Another of the ingredients, Juniper Berries, was used by the Greeks, Olympians, and ancient Egyptians medicinally and as a spiritual purifier. Juniper Berries were thought to help purify the aura, clarify thought, and protect from negativity.
The third ingredient that contributes substantially to the success of this ointment is Gotu Kola, the Herb of Enlightenment. It is thought of as the “spiritual herb” with references to this plant showing up in classical Ayurvedic and Daoist medical texts being used anciently in India and China. This herb contributes to a balancing and harmonizing effect on the mind, body, and spirit.

For energy release, rub a small amount on the back of hand, back of neck, or elsewhere as desired.
